Water Safety Education is the essential component. Water safety education arms young people with the knowledge and skills to behave in a safe and sensible manner when in, on or around water and may one day save a life. Royal Life Saving Australia has introduced a number of water safety programs and campaigns, including the Swim and Survive safety program. This classroom unit is timely as students head into summer.
